Silva

«Trees are obviously more sensible than we are, they always strive for light.» This description of a lyric poet says what is shown in the installation «Silva» (lat. Wald). The life of the tree shines as long as it is only looked at. However, when man intervenes in nature, Silva’s energy disappears and the lights go out.

«Silva» is intended to raise the visitor’s awareness of the importance of the forest.
